How Do You Prepare Your Dried Oyster Mushrooms?

Our fresh oyster mushrooms are shade-dried mushrooms in 80 g packages. Upon purchase, dried oyster mushrooms are soaked (covered in boiled water for 20 minutes), and strained excess water before being prepared for cooking. Dried oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus spp.) have a concentrated flavour, aroma, nutritive values, and medicinal properties, which have equated them as super-food. Oyster mushrooms in general have higher significant levels of proteins (18 amino acids), fibre, vitamins (B and C), nicotinate, minerals, and are low in fat and cholesterol.
